Dignitaries Converge for Senator Mohammed Danjuma Goje’s Daughter’s Wedding in Abuja
A star-studded gathering of Nigeria’s who’s who marked a significant milestone in the life of Fauziyya Danjuma Goje, the daughter of Senator Mohammed Danjuma Goje, as she exchanged vows with Aliyu Ahmed Abubakar at the National Mosque in Abuja.
The auspicious occasion was attended by a host of high-profile guests, including the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas, among others.
Also in attendance were Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and a plethora of governors, senators, ministers, business tycoons, traditional leaders, and religious leaders across the country.
Some of the notable politicians who graced the occasion included Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya, Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido, former Borno State Governor Ali Modu Shariff, and former National Chairman of the APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
The Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, were also in attendance.
Sentimentally, Senator Goje, a former governor of Gombe State and a ranking senator since 2011, was spotted with President Tinubu during the ceremony, with the likes of Ganduje and Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State visibly enthusiastic about the unlikely meeting between Tinubu and Atiku at the event.
