Nigeria’s Governor Kano Ganduje praises Tinubu’s efforts and leadership.

Tinubu Doing A Good Job For Nigeria – Ganduje

APC Chairman Praises President Tinubu’s Leadership and Reforms, Calls for Regional Support for Party in Ondo Election

Abdullahi Ganduje, a former Governor of Kano State and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has strongly endorsed President Bola Tinubu’s progressive policies, which he believes are pivotal in reinvigorating the nation’s economy. Ganduje emphasized that President Tinubu deserves massive support from the South West region, with the upcoming Ondo state governorship election being a vital test case.

Ganduje highlighted the importance of a successful party outcome in the upcoming election, emphasizing that it would be a fitting tribute to President Tinubu, who hails from the South West region. He urged the members of the National Campaign Council, led by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to foster unity and ensure that the APC maintains its grip on power in Ondo state.

“President Bola Tinubu is doing an admirable job for our country. He has introduced reforms aimed at making our institutions strong and efficient for the benefit of the nation,” Ganduje said. “We respect and honor him.”

In reference to the forthcoming election, Ganduje stressed that Ondo state must maintain APC control through democratic means. He also emphasized the relevance of regional loyalty, stating that it is crucial to show appreciation for President Tinubu’s leadership by supporting the party’s candidate in the election. He likened it to wearing matching attire, saying, “How can your trousers be different from your agbada? It’s not attractive. It’s not fashionable. Therefore, the opportunity is now with your political zone, and the needful has to be done through democratic means.”

Ganduje concluded by urging the campaign council members to mobilize partisans to ensure the party’s victory in the election, promising an enabling environment for a free, fair, and smooth electoral process.

In his own remarks, Sanwo-Olu emphasized the party’s intention to focus on substantive issues, excluding emotional appeals and derogatory remarks. He credited the APC’s candidate, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for simplifying the campaign process through various projects launched during his administration.

“It won’t be a campaign on sentiment or abuse but on issues because the gentlemen has made our job easier by compiling a compendium of projects. He has the compendium of projects that he has embarked upon in his agenda for the state’s people,” Sanwo-Olu said. “I want to assure the citizens of Ondo state that they have not seen anything yet, but they will still enjoy more dividends of democracy than what they got four years ago. So, it is an honor and privilege to lead our party’s national campaign council.”
