NFF Changes Kick-Off Time For Super Falcons Of Nigeria Vs Algeria Clash

NFF Announces Revised Kick-Off Time for Nigeria vs. Algeria International Friendly

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has made a last-minute adjustment to the kick-off time for the highly anticipated international friendly match between the Super Falcons and Algeria, set to take place on October 29th at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.

The match has been rescheduled to start at 2 PM, a change from the previously scheduled 4 PM. This revised schedule was necessary to accommodate the Algerian delegation’s travel plans, which require them to depart for the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos the same evening.

According to Dayo Enebi Achor, the NFF’s Head of International Competitions, the altered kick-off time ensures the match concludes promptly, allowing the Algerian team sufficient time to prepare for their return trip to Qatar aboard Qatar Airways.

This friendly match is the second in a series between the two teams, following the Super Falcons’ dominant 2-0 victory over the Algerian Green Ladies last Saturday. Star player Rasheedat Ajibade was instrumental in securing the win, netting both goals for the three-time African champions.

This ongoing series of matches underscores the growing competitiveness and talent of women’s football in Nigeria, as the Super Falcons continue to make waves on the international stage.
