Controversial Nollywood Star Nkechi Blessing Finally Apologizes to TAMPAN and its President, Mr. Latin, Following Suspension from Industry

Nkechi Blessing, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s film industry, has expressed regret for her actions that led to her suspension from the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and its president, Mr. Latin. The incident dates back to 2021 when she got embroiled in a social media spat with her colleague, Lege Miami, over the defilement allegations against actor Baba Ijesha.

The drama began when Lege Miami appeared to sympathize with Baba Ijesha, which Nkechi Blessing saw as a betrayal. This led to a fierce online exchange, with Nkechi refusing to back down despite being asked to suspend her activities by TAMPAN. This bold move led to her indefinite ban from Yoruba movie sets.

In a recent appearance at The Celebrities Entertainment Awards in Canada, Nkechi took a humble approach, begging TAMPAN officials for forgiveness. She revealed that she had grown to miss the industry and its people. View the video below:
