Regina Daniels Reveals Her Mother Was Against Her Marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko

In a recent live Instagram session, popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels opened up about her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko, revealing that her mother, Rita Daniels, was not in support of their union.

Contrary to popular opinion, Regina disclosed that her entire family was against her decision to tie the knot with the 63-year-old politician. She shared the surprising revelation, stating that her mother and family were initially opposed to the marriage.

Regina emphasized that her family’s disapproval of Nwoko was a misconception, insisting that she had a choice over her decisions. She said, “I didn’t have 20 boyfriends to forget, by the way. People think my mother forced me, but she was actually opposed to the marriage, as was the rest of my family.”

In 2019, Nwoko married Regina despite the significant age gap between them. According to the politician, he chose to marry Regina because she was from his hometown. He explained, “I married her because she is from my place. I wanted to marry a wife from my place, and I was searching for the right person. When I met her, I knew she was the one.”
