Controversial Celebrity OKuneye Idris, aka Bobrisky, Hospitalized After Suffering a Sudden Spike in Body Temperature
A source within the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has confirmed that Bobrisky was rushed to an undisclosed hospital on Wednesday following a sudden increase in his body temperature.
Naijawebinfo has learned that the crossdresser is still in a precarious situation following his arrest at the Seme Border on Monday and is currently undergoing interrogation as a “person of interest” according to NIS Public Relations Officer, Deputy Controller Kenneth Udo.
As of now, there has been no official word on whether Bobrisky will face court proceedings or be released once his health stabilizes.
In related news, a federal government panel, led by Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, has submitted its report to Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, regarding claims that Bobrisky did not serve his full six-month prison term.
The panel found no evidence to support these allegations, but did confirm that Bobrisky received certain privileges during his prison stay.
Bobrisky’s current legal troubles stem from his arrest by NIS officials while allegedly trying to flee the country. He remains in Immigration custody with no clear decision yet on his future.
