Although Evra acknowledged his admiration for Fernandes, he felt compelled to address specific concerns about the player’s performance. “I was thrilled when he joined the team,” he began. “He brought a new dimension to the squad, and his adaptability to the Premier League was impressive. However, Evra’s sentiment quickly took a critical turn. “But, despite my respect for Bruno, I struggle with his lack of discipline on the pitch,” he expressed. “It often seems like he’s unsure where he’s supposed to be playing. This uncertainty is troubling.”
The French defender stressed the importance of each player fulfilling their responsibilities, saying, “With all due respect to Bruno, I don’t believe he’s meeting the standards Manchester United requires for success right now.”
