The head coach of the Super Eagles B team, Augustine Eguavoen, has selected a talented group of 35 players to participate in the upcoming qualifying fixtures for the 2025 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) against Ghana. This impressive squad features a mix of proven performers from the domestic league, ensuring a strong foundation for the team’s ambitions.

The list includes standouts like Remo Stars’ dynamic wing-back Ismail Sadiq, Kano Pillars’ high-flying forward Zikifilu Rabiu, and Enugu Rangers’ creative attacking midfielder Kazeem Ogunleye, all of whom have made their mark in the league.

The first leg of this highly anticipated clash is set to take place between December 20th and 22nd, with the return leg following in the subsequent week. The two-legged encounter will determine which team secures a spot in the 2025 Africa Nations Championship.

As the stakes are high, the overall winner of this qualifying series will earn a berth in the 2025 Africa Nations Championship, co-hosted by Kenya, Mozambique, and Tanzania. The tournament finals are scheduled to take place from February 1st to 28th, 2025.
