APC Deputy Director Is Dead

Deputy Director at the Organization Department of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Passes On

Naijawebinfo can reliably report that Isaiah Edegbo, a senior staff member at the APC’s National Secretariat, has sadly passed away. This news was confirmed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, in a statement released on Tuesday.

Morka revealed that Edegbo, a 48-year-old from Kogi State, breathed his last on Monday, October 28, in Abuja. He was a highly respected member of the party and will be deeply missed.

Edegbo’s educational background is a testament to his impressive intellect. He earned a Diploma in Civil Law from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria (1997), an LL.B (Hons) in 2003, an LL.M in Public Law in 2016, and was on the verge of completing his PhD in Commercial Law.

Edegbo’s exceptional skills as a lawyer were matched only by his outstanding contributions to the party. His meticulous approach and attention to detail made him a valuable asset to the party, particularly during congresses, conventions, and election activities.APC Raises Concerns over Attempt to Block Rivers LG Allocations

In a separate development, the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken a strong stance against efforts by factional chairman, Tony Okocha, to halt revenue allocation to the state’s 23 local governments.

The party fiercely condemned Okocha’s moves, emphasizing that his claims of party leadership were in direct contravention of a valid court ruling that removed him and his caretaker committee from office.

Rivers APC’s spokesperson, Darlington Nwauju, emphasized that the party would no longer remain silent on the matter, and urged Okocha to desist from actions that could disrupt the lives of thousands of residents who depend on the local government system for their livelihoods.
