APC Appoints Lagos State Governor, Sanwo-Olu, as Ondo Guber Campaign Chairman
According to a statement issued on Thursday night by Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, the National Organising Secretary of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has been appointed as the Chairman of the Ondo State National Gubernatorial Campaign Council.
The campaign council will consist of 306 members, and its inauguration is scheduled to take place on October 28, 2024, at 12 pm at the International Event Centre (The Dome) in Akure, Ondo State.
Other notable members of the council include Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, Minister of Budget Atiku Bagudu, Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu, and Senator Simon Bako Lalong, among others.
