Church Seeks Concrete Evidence of Gay Allegations Against Ministers

RCCG Urges General Public To Submit Evidence Of Homosexuality Against Its Pastors

RCCG Requests Evidence Against Accused Pastors

The memo, dated October 28, 2024, ordered an exhaustive examination of the claims, emphasizing that the church’s doctrine does not tolerate or support any form of homosexuality. In line with this stance, Akande pointed to pertinent biblical references.

As part of the investigation process, the RCCG has issued a rallying call to the general public to come forward with any evidence that may support or contradict the allegations against the accused pastors. The church has provided a dedicated email address, [email protected], and phone number, 09039000700, for submitting information. It is crucial to note that only credible evidence will be taken into consideration.

Reacting to the allegations, Pastor Ayorinde AdeBello, one of the accused, has categorically denied the claims of engaging in homosexual activities with male teenagers. He claims his prolonged silence has been misunderstood as an admission of guilt, prompting his response.

AdeBello also clarified that a viral WhatsApp screenshot circulating social media was taken out of context and misquoted. In fact, the original conversation revolved around male reproductive health and self-esteem within a WhatsApp group of teenagers.
