Flying Eagles Coach Confident in Win Against Ghana in WAFU B Under-20 Championship Final

The Nigerian U-20 team, led by coach Aliyu Zubairu, is looking forward to a triumphant victory over Ghana’s Black Satellites in the WAFU B Under-20 Championship final on October 30 at Stade Kegue in Lome, with kickoff slated for 8 PM Nigerian time.

In a press conference ahead of the showdown, Zubairu outlined his approach to capitalize on both teams’ strengths and weaknesses. He remarked that while Ghana is a force to be reckoned with, Nigeria can benefit from specific areas where the Ghanaians fall short, particularly in terms of pace and high-intensity gameplay.

Zubairu also acknowledged the historical rivalry between the two nations, underlining the team’s growth and development throughout the tournament. He expressed confidence in the team’s experience, believing it will be a vital factor in securing the win.

Flying Eagles captain Daniel Bameyi echoed the team’s resolve to reclaim the WAFU B Under-20 Championship title, conveying his enthusiasm for the opportunity to shine. “Winning this cup is crucial to us, and we are fully committed to bringing it back home,” he emphasized.

It’s worth noting that both Nigeria and Ghana have already secured their spots in the Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations.
