Ologunagba Castigates Governor Aiyedatiwa, Describes Him as a “Confused Individual” Lacking Clear Plans
In a stern warning, the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Debo Ologunagba, has branded Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, a “confused individual” with no clear plans or programs. According to Ologunagba, Aiyedatiwa’s claims that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has torn apart the umbrella of the opposition party during his campaign tour to various communities in the state are nothing but hallucination.
The PDP chieftain argues that Aiyedatiwa’s comments are a clear indication of his inner turmoil, stating that the governor is grappling with severe divisions within his own party, rather than facing issues in the PDP.
Ologunagba emphasized that the PDP is fully committed to participating in the forthcoming governorship election, scheduled for November 16, and urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure a free and fair election. He also called for the transfer of the current INEC commissioner in Ondo State, citing concerns over his relationships with APC leaders in the state.
Ologunagba is confident that the people of Ondo State have realized the “monumental failure” of the APC and will instead vote for the PDP. He describes the state’s residents as resolute and strong, saying that when they make up their minds, they know what to do. He reiterated that Aiyedatiwa is a “confused individual” with no plan or program, and that his words are nothing but empty promises.
Ologunagba also addressed the crisis within the party, clarifying that there was no action taken by Mr. Damagum regarding the local government elections in Rivers State. He urged people to stop focusing on individual party members and recognize that no single person controls the party. He emphasized that there were disagreements within the party, but these have been resolved.
