Kcee’s Clear Expectations on Marriage

‘If I Date You We Will Not Get Married’ – Kcee Speaks On His Marriage

Kcee’s Fairytale Romance: How He Met His Wife, Ijeoma Presh Okonkwo

Renowned Nigerian singer, Kcee, has opened up about the day he met his wife, Ijeoma Presh Okonkwo, describing it as love at first sight. The ‘Limpopo’ crooner shared this heartwarming story with media personality, VJ Adams, in a recent interview.

It was a moment that changed his life forever, as he was distributing wedding cards for his younger brother, Emeka Okonkwo, also known as E-Money, at Charly Boy’s place. That’s where he laid eyes on the love of his life.

Kcee revealed that he was smitten with Ijeoma from the moment he saw her and decided he had to make her his wife – without hesitation. He didn’t want to risk the chance of missing out or making mistakes by dating her first.

According to the singer, “I met my wife Ijeoma when I went to give my brother’s wedding invitation at Charly Boy’s place. From that moment, I knew, ‘I want to marry this girl.’ I approached her and said, ‘You’re my wife.’ Presh was laughing, and I walked up to her, handed her the invitation, and said, ‘I’ve come to drop this, but I’d like to invite you especially. And I want to marry you.'” At first, Ijeoma didn’t recognize Kcee, and he had to ask for her number, which she initially refused. However, after her colleague revealed his true identity, she eventually gave in.

The couple started talking, and Kcee made it clear that he wanted to marry Ijeoma, not date her. He believed that dating could lead to mistakes and missed opportunities. Instead, he chose to take a leap of faith and propose to his future wife without delay.

Kcee and Ijeoma got married in 2010 and have two beautiful children together. Their love story serves as a reminder that sometimes, love can strike unexpectedly, and being true to one’s heart is all that matters.
