Bobrisky on the Run: Controversial Influencer Fled Nigeria After Detention Release

Bobrisky ‘Out’ Of Detention, Shares Stunning Photo On Social Media

**Controversial Celebrity, Bobrisky, Documents His Flight to London with Isaac Fayose, Brother of Ekiti State Governor**

In a surprising turn of events, popular cross dresser, Idris Okunneye, also known as Bobrisky, has sparked controversy again by posting photos of himself on social media while on a flight to London alongside Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of Ekiti State’s former governor.

Isaac took to his Instagram page to share the photos, stating that he and Bobrisky shared a flight to London. The controversial celebrity later responded with a sarcastic post, saying “Who laughs last laughs best.”

This news comes as no surprise, considering Bobrisky’s recent encounter with the authorities. Last week, the social media personality was detained by the Nigeria Immigration Service at the Seme border while allegedly attempting to flee the country. He was later transferred to the Lagos FCID for further investigation.

As Bobrisky continues to face scrutiny, new allegations have surfaced. It is being claimed that he may face additional criminal charges over allegations of serving his jail term in a private apartment and bribing officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to drop money laundering charges against him.

Bobrisky was previously sentenced to six months’ imprisonment on April 12, but was released from prison on August 5. The Ministry of Interior subsequently conducted an investigation into the circumstances of his release, which led to the discovery of alleged bribery claims.

Bobrisky has been accused of bribing officials to secure a private apartment while serving his sentence and bribing EFCC officials to drop money laundering charges against him. He also allegedly claimed that a “godfather” helped him serve his sentence in a private apartment, with the controller general of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Haliru Nababa, being involved.

However, an investigation into these claims found no evidence to support Bobrisky’s claims, and a panel recommended that he face defamation and criminal charges for making false statements. The panel also asked the Department of State Services to investigate whether Bobrisky bribed the EFCC or the correctional service, and if substantiated, he would be charged with corrupt practices.
