FIRS Invites Applications for Tax Officer Roles – See Eligibility and Application Guidelines
The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has launched its recruitment portal for tax officer positions, and applications are now open for interested candidates. The online application process is expected to begin at 12:00 am on November 2, 2024.
The agency is seeking to fill Officer I and Officer II roles in various locations across Nigeria, including Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Ekiti, Lagos, and Oyo. However, please note that applicants may be assigned to any FIRS office nationwide.

**Eligibility Criteria**
To be considered, prospective candidates must meet the following requirements:
* Age: Not older than 27 years by December 31, 2024.
* NYSC Completion: Must have completed their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) by December 31, 2021.
* Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) with a First Class or Second Class Upper Division in fields such as Accounting, Actuarial Science, Computer Engineering, Economics, Law, or similar areas.
A Master’s degree or professional certification (like ICAN, ACCA, ANAN, COREN, or NSE) is considered an asset.
