Isaac Fayose, brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has made a bold statement in a recent video posting. He’s offered a whopping ₦50 million to anyone who can prove he benefited financially from government contracts during his brother’s tenure as governor.
In the video, Isaac emphasized that any success he’s achieved is due to divine blessings, not government deals or favors from his brother’s position.
His declaration comes at a time when questions have been raised about his business ventures and connections, and Fayose seems determined to put the speculation to rest.
With a mix of emotion and conviction, he asserted in the video, “Some people claim I’m using Ekiti money. My brother never gave me a single job as governor, I repeat it loudly and clearly.”
Fayose challenges anyone to provide evidence of any contract he received from his brother during his tenure as governor, stating that he will award ₦50 million to the person who can prove it.
He expressed frustration over people automatically assuming he’s using Ekiti money and reemphasized that his brother never gave him any contracts.
Fayose also emphasized that he’s a businessman and trader, and that his success is the result of his own hard work, not government favors. He believes that as long as he’s alive, he will continue to stand by the people of Ekiti and defend their interests.
