Yoruba Nollywood Actress Reveals How Friend’s Betrayal Led to Her Marriage Crashing

In a shocking revelation, popular Yoruba Nollywood actress, Ronke Odusanya, has opened up about the devastating betrayal that ultimately led to the collapse of her marriage to Saheed Olarewaju, also known as Jago.

According to a recent interview with her colleague, Bimpe Akintunde, Ronke shared the shocking story of how a close friend maliciously spread false rumors about her intentions, claiming that she was planning to abandon her marriage and pursue a life of prostitution. The friend even went so far as to tell Jago that she had spent the night in a senator’s house with their daughter, Fife.

Moreover, Ronke recalled that her friend also fabricated stories about being financially unstable, stating that she had been taken advantage of by various individuals, including a senator. At the time, Ronke’s personal belongings were being taken away, leaving her with little to no resources. In fact, she was left with a whopping N10,000 in her bank account, which was hardly enough to secure a new place to live.

Regrettably, Ronke’s partner, Jago, was left to regret listening to these malicious rumors, which ultimately contributed to the downfall of their marriage.

Speierking about her experience, Ronke revealed, “When it all happened, I couldn’t believe my ears. A friend told my partner that I wanted to leave him and turn to prostitution. She even claimed that I spent the night in a senator’s house with our daughter, Fife. When my partner told me, I was left speechless. I had to take action by sending him a picture, which I had evidence of, documenting the time and date. God gave me the strength; I recorded part of the video on my phone, including the time we went to sleep, and I continued to record the moment we left. By the time we split, I had almost no money left in my account – just N10,000 – and I was left with nothing, as all my jewelry had been taken away. I fainted that day, feeling lost and uncertain about how to start over.”
