Kogi State Governor Endorses APC Candidate, Ebira Community Councils to Back Luck Aiyedatiwa
Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo has urged members of the Ebira community in Ondo State to throw their support behind All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, to ensure they reap the benefits of democracy.
Governor Ododo made this call while leading a delegation of Ebira community representatives to show their support for Aiyedatiwa in Owo, Ondo State. According to him, the APC candidate would carry on the good work of the late Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, who has been a key figure in the state’s progress.
“We, the entire Ebira community across Ondo State, have collectively decided to stand by the APC and vote for its candidate, Governor Aiyedatiwa, in the upcoming election,” he said.
Governor Ododo commended Aiyedatiwa for doing a remarkable job of upholding Akeredolu’s legacies. “Governor Aiyedatiwa, the Ebira community is behind you; we are united as one because we believe in continuity. Ever since the passing of Mr. Akeredolu, you have consistently built upon his foundations and continued the good work he started. You have been tested and trusted, which is why we are 100 percent in your corner. The Ebira people are solidly behind you, and we will ensure your victory come November 16,” he emphasized.
Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, who received the delegation, assured that he would continue to provide excellent governance to the people of Ondo State, including the Ebira community. He reaffirmed that the election would be free and fair, just as President Bola Tinubu’s administration desires.
“President Tinubu has consistently shown his interest in our state’s growth. Since he took office, he has never wavered in his support for us, always ensuring that we have the necessary resources to develop our state,” he said.
