Edo State Deputy Governor Praises Administration’s Achievements as Transition Looms
As the transfer of power from Governor Godwin Obaseki’s government approaches, Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu has taken a moment to reminisce about the state’s remarkable progress in various sectors.
Shaibu highlighted the significant strides made in sports, education, healthcare, and infrastructure development, crediting the concerted efforts of the state’s residents and his administration’s dedication to the motto “Making Edo Great Again” (MEGA). He expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from the people of Edo throughout his tenure.
As he looked back on the state’s accomplishments, Shaibu declared, “Edo State has emerged as Nigeria’s top sporting destination, accompanied by transformative changes in education, revitalized healthcare, and notable infrastructure growth.”
Shaibu acknowledged the people’s vital role in the state’s success, saying, “I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Edo for their unwavering support, encouragement, and partnership throughout my tenure. It has been an honor serving as your Deputy Governor.”
