Nollywood Actor Jim Iyke Pays Tribute to Beloved Filmmaker Dimeji Ajibola
The news of Dimeji Ajibola’s passing on Sunday has left many in shock, including Nollywood actor Jim Iyke. Ajibola, a renowned filmmaker behind the popular TV series Shanty Town, was 52 years old when he succumbed to an undisclosed illness.

‘I’m still grappling to understand the situation, and to find solace, I must look to a higher power,’ Iyke wrote. ‘The project he was working on is his final legacy, as he himself described it. “This is the project every filmmaker dreams of.” The world will now witness his unparalleled brilliance and unique persona, and I will do so in his name.’
