APC Chieftain Douses Rumors of Chibuike Amaechi’s Alleged Regret, Commitment to Party’s Vision
A high-ranking All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has dismissed rumors circulating on social media, stating that former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, has had a change of heart and is considering a return to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Eze categorically declared that these claims are baseless and fabricated by mischief-makers and media irritants, aimed at tarnishing Amaechi’s reputation.
According to Eze, Amaechi remains steadfast in his commitment to the APC’s mission and vision, with no intention of abandoning the party. As a prominent figure in the APC, Amaechi has played a significant role in building the party’s presence in the South-South region, and his loyalty to the party has been unwavering despite attempts by detractors to create controversy.
In a statement released in Port Harcourt, Eze noted that he would not normally react to such rumors, but felt compelled to issue a statement due to the malicious intent behind these false reports. He emphasized that Amaechi’s silence over the past year has caused “sleepless nights, unimaginable fear, and palpable tension” among his detractors, who are struggling to cope with the fear of the unknown.
Eze further highlighted that Amaechi has been a vocal critic of the current APC-led government’s policies, which he believes have contributed to the country’s economic woes. He has expressed concerns about the government’s thoughtless policies, which have led to Nigeria’s current state of poverty and helped drive the country deeper into economic despair.
Eze reaffirmed that Amaechi’s stance on these issues reflects his commitment to genuine democratic governance and leadership in Nigeria, making him a force to be reckoned with in the country’s political landscape.
