According to insiders, Judge Adeyeye’s passing occurred shortly after being hospitalized, a testament to the brevity of his struggle with his health issues.

In 2021, then-Governor Kayode Fayemi appointed Judge Adeyeye as the Chief Judge of Ekiti State on October 11th.

Judge Adeyeye’s journey as a lawyer began with his call to the bar in 1986. Born in Araromi Ugbesi, Ekiti East Local Government Area in 1960, he started his professional path by joining the state counsel in the civil service of former Ondo State.

When Ekiti State was established in 1996, Judge Adeyeye transitioned to the Ekiti State Judiciary Service Commission.

Throughout his tenure, Judge Adeyeye’s dedication earned him a promotion to judge in the Ekiti State High Court in 2002. His contributions to the legal process also include serving on various election petition tribunals.
