PDP Hits Back at APC, Accuses them of Being “Blood-Sucking Vampires” and “Power-Grabbers”
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has launched a scathing attack on the All Progressives Congress (APC), labeling them “a haven of power-grabbers, treasury looters, and manipulators” who thrive on “sucking the blood” of citizens and inflicting pain and hardship.
In a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, the PDP condemned the APC for its attack on Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, which it described as a reckless, insensitive, and reprehensible display of arrogance in failure.
The PDP said that the attack on Governor Makinde was a confirmation that the APC is jittery about its days being numbered, as Nigerians have seen through its lies, subterfuge, falsehood, suppressive policies, and crass incompetence in governance.
The party accused the APC of claiming that the country was on the cusp of prosperity while ignoring the worsening insecurity, biting economic hardship, widespread hunger and starvation, comatose infrastructure, crippled productive sector, weakened currency, and closure of millions of businesses.
Ologunagba also accused the APC government of President Bola Tinubu of killing the economy, resulting in high hardship in the country. He claimed that the party was trying to hoodwink citizens with lies and false performance claims while reversing all the gains made in the 16 years of the PDP in governance and turning the country into the poverty capital of the world.
The PDP spokesman criticized the APC for its voodoo economy, citing the rapid devaluation of the naira, steep price increases, and widespread corruption. He said that while Nigerians are experiencing hardship, corrupt APC leaders are busy looting the nation’s treasury to fund their luxury and consumption.
Ologunagba called on the APC to accept failure and end its shenanigans, stating that the party’s lifespan ends in February 2027, when it will be sent to political oblivion where it truly belongs.
