APC in Jigawa State Warns Against Crisis and Factions
The Jigawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced its intention to take swift action against any group attempting to create chaos or divisions within the party.
This warning comes as the party has been monitoring social media and mainstream media for posts that show deliberate attempts to instigate disturbances and undermine APC leaders in the state.
According to a statement issued by the party chairman, Aminu Sani Gumel, certain individuals are perpetrating a smear campaign against APC leaders in the state. These individuals, who are not even registered party members, are manipulating a few misguided party members to further their own self-serving agenda.
The Jigawa APC chairman highlighted the strong leadership of the current state government, under Governor Umar Namadi, which reflects the values and continuity of the previous administration led by Muhammad Badaru Abubakar. Both leaders have the party’s confidence and are held in the highest regard.
*The party will not tolerate any efforts to disrupt the government’s ability to fulfill its campaign promises in Jigawa State and Nigeria as a whole.* Gumel emphasized.
There have been baseless accusations against Hon. Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, the Minister of Defense, including claims of anti-party activities. Gumel emphasized that such reports will be investigated, and appropriate action taken.
The statement added that the faceless group behind these false allegations had no record with the APC headquarters in Jigawa State. The party chairman warned that Jigawa APC would use all legal avenues to identify the group’s sponsors and take the necessary political and legal action to address the matter.
