Yul Edochie Fires Back at Nigerians Trolling His Social Media Posts with His Wife, Judy Austin
Yul Edochie, a popular Nollywood actor, has lashed out at some Nigerians who are constantly criticizing his consistent social media posts featuring his wife, Judy Austin. In a recent post on his Instagram page, he called out those offering unsolicited advice, claiming they are no longer with their wives.
According to Edochie, posting his marriage on social media is none of anyone’s business, and people should simply be unconcerned about it. The actor chose to share a personal aspect of his life, and those who can’t accept that can either ignore his posts or “hug a transformer”.
He went on to express his frustration, stating that people often wait until someone dies to celebrate them, but when the person is alive and happy, it fills them with joy. He mocked those who offer advice, saying they can’t even fix their own problems but feel entitled to offer solutions to others.
Edochie concluded, “If I post my wife a million times on my page, how does that concern you? Are you paying my bill or is it your wife I’m posting? What’s wrong with people is that they’re celebrating others’ funerals, putting on black and observing silence. But when someone’s alive and happy, that disgusts some people. If my post offends you, then you should ‘hug a transformer’.”
It seems Edochie is rejecting criticism and refusing to back down, choosing instead to share his personal life with his followers and ignore those who disapprove.
