Nigeria Might Face Famine In The Future – Mbaka

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka Warns of Imminent Famine in Nigeria: Calls for Collective Prayer and Action

The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu State, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has sounded a dire warning about the possibility of a famine in Nigeria, emphasizing the urgent need for collective prayer and action to address the crisis.

In his remarks during the commissioning of Blessed Omemma Oil and Gas Limited, a new filling station in Abakpa, Enugu East Local Government Area, Mbaka lamented the escalating cost of fuel in the country, pointing out that the current situation is already alarming and could lead to a famine crisis if left unchecked.

The cleric emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating that Nigerians must work together to find a solution. He urged the government to take immediate action to address the fuel price hike and highlighted the importance of individual financial prudence, advising people to invest their money wisely, rather than keeping it in banks where it may depreciate in value.

“We are already facing hunger, but if we’re not cautious, we could face famine,” Mbaka warned. “I encourage people to invest their money wisely; don’t leave it in the bank where it will keep devaluing.”

Mbaka also emphasized the government’s role in resolving the crisis, saying, “The government knows what they need to do about the fuel hike. One solution from them can overcome these toxic situations, and that’s why I emphasize the power of prayer.”
