Ad actress Uche Ogbodo has taken to social media to express her outrage and seek help after her shop was burgled and the alleged culprits were released.
Ogbodo, who had rented a multimillion-naira shop from Dolly Real Estate Company, had paid security fees to Teflon Placements Security Company, managed by Mr. Orji. However, she claims that Teflon Placements hired unvetted security personnel, including a suspect identified as Henry, who was involved in the theft.
After reporting the incident to the authorities at Ogoja Police Station, Ogbodo claims that the police released the suspects and denied the occurrence of the robbery. Moreover, Mr. Orji allegedly altered his account, stating that the shop’s ceiling was defective and that no items were taken.
In a caption, Ogbodo wrote, “I am not a prostitute who relies on selling my body for money. I didn’t steal anyone’s money to set up my business worth millions of Naira. I’m a happily married woman with three children, hustling hard to make a living! Why would I be constantly subjected to torture without anywhere to run?”
She then described how she rented her shop, situated at No. 11 Idowu Dabiri Street, Sangotedo, from Dolly Real Estate Company through Ms. Dolakpo, the owner and manager of the shop complex. She also paid two different security fees, one for the shop itself for a complete year and the second one for the estate of Idowu Dabiri.
Ogbodo stated that the security company in charge of her shop is Teflon Placements Security Company, managed by Mr. Orji, whom she met for the first time on Sunday night. After her shop was allegedly ravaged, he was initially apologetic and sorry, telling her that he would do everything in his power to find the security man named Henry, who was at large.
However, after she reported the incident to the police on Sunday, she was asked to come back on Monday to see the DPO, where she was told that he didn’t want any trouble and wanted to settle her. But today, the same man allegedly connived with the police and released the two suspects she handed over to them, only to deny the robbery, stating that her shop wasn’t robbed, that her POP was faulty, and that she was just claiming that her things were stolen. She asked what about the boy, Henry, who ran away with bags that people saw on the street, and he replied that the guy went on leave. She started calling her supposed IPO, SP Moses, who promised to help her see justice in this case, but he was no longer picking up her calls. This is wrong!
She implored people to help her ask Mr. Orji of Teflon Placements how he concluded that this man brings criminals without proper checks on their backgrounds and gives them to businesses as security personnel. Now, they have robbed her, and he is trying to deny her.
