Tribute Paid to Late Houst Special Adviser, Hon. Tajudeen Egunjobi
The Ogun State government and the nation have been plunged into mourning following the untimely passing of Hon. Tajudeen Egunjobi, the Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Housing.
Egunjobi’s sudden departure on Tuesday, after a brief illness, has left a huge void in the state’s leadership and a deep sense of sadness among those who knew him.
Governor Abiodun, in a condolence visit to Egunjobi’s family, expressed his deepest sorrow, calling the loss a “rude shock” and a significant setback for the administration.
He hailed Egunjobi’s unwavering dedication, describing him as a humble, reliable, and diligent member of his team.
“He was a hardworking, conscientious, dependable, and reliable special adviser who always put the needs of the state above his own,” Governor Abiodun emphasized. “As an architect, politician, and former member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, his contributions to the state’s housing sector were invaluable.”
The governor acknowledged the significant impact Egunjobi had on the state’s housing initiatives, stressing that the administration’s achievements in this area would not have been possible without his tireless efforts. He vowed that Egunjobi’s legacy would be remembered for years to come.
The State Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Jagunmolu Jamiu Omoniyi, also paid tribute to the late adviser, describing him as a loyal and dedicated politician whose influence and hard work played a crucial role in the success of the state’s housing projects.
The Egunjobi family, in a statement, expressed gratitude to the state government for their support and wished Governor Abiodun continued success in his future endeavors.
