Samsung Releases Stable One UI 6 Watch Update

After several months of development, Samsung is finally rolling out the stable version of One UI 6 Watch, which is based on Wear OS 5. The update is now available for One UI Watch Beta program participants, with regular users set to receive it in the coming weeks.

According to Samsung’s release note, which was shared by Reddit users, the company will no longer be releasing any further Beta versions of the One UI 6 Watch. Instead, the company is urging Beta participants to install the stable version, as it will be terminating support for Beta builds. The new update is 136.33 MB in size and includes the October 1 security patch.

In total, the One UI 6 Watch boasts an array of exciting features, including new Samsung Health functionalities, Galaxy AI-powered sleep analysis, improved navigation and gesture controls, more power-saving options, an upgraded system font, and much more. These features are sure to delight owners of compatible Galaxy Watches.

So, which devices are eligible for this update? According to Samsung, the following watches will receive the One UI 6 Watch update: Galaxy Watch 6, Watch 6 Classic, Watch 5, Watch 5 Pro, Watch 4, Watch 4 Classic, and Watch FE. These devices were either launched with the One UI 6 Watch or are compatible with the new software.

So, when can you expect the One UI 6 Watch update? The Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra, which were launched alongside the One UI 6 Watch, have already received the update out-of-the-box. Devices in the United States and Korea, where the One UI 6 Watch Beta program was exclusive, are expected to receive the update first, with all other regions to follow later.
