In a recent episode of TVC’s Your View, Bimbo Manuel, a veteran Nollywood actor, shared his honest opinions on the lifestyles of his fellow celebrities. According to him, many of his colleagues who flaunt Range Rovers and luxurious mansions in Lagos are living a false reality.
Manuel emphasized that no Nollywood star can afford to buy a Range Rover solely from their acting fees. He emphasized his personal preference for a humble and down-to-earth life.
“The actors you see flaunting Range Rovers and mansions in Ikoyi are living fake lives. No actor in Nigeria could ever say they can buy a Range Rover from acting fees alone,” he noted.

In a related development, veteran Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola has also weighed in on the financial disparities in the Nigerian movie industry. She expressed her curiosity about the lavish lifestyles of some female stars and questioned how they fund their luxurious lives.
Akintola attributed the wealth of many female stars to alternative sources, such as family wealth, business ventures, and romantic relationships with politicians.
