AC Milan’s Alvaro Morata Takes a Hard Hit in Training, Sent to Hospital for Evaluation
When AC Milan’s Alvaro Morata collided mid-air with defender Strahinja Pavlovic during training, the striker needed immediate medical attention. An ambulance promptly took him to a nearby hospital in Legnano, where he underwent an MRI scan to determine the extent of his injuries.
Morata received a clean bill of health, but the medical team decided it was better for him to stay in the hospital under observation, as a precautionary measure. This will likely cause him to miss AC Milan’s upcoming match against Cagliari on Saturday. Tammy Abraham is expected to fill the void left by Morata’s absence, taking the reins as the team’s primary striker.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen has assured fans he’s committed to Galatasaray for the rest of the season, putting speculation about his future to rest. Although he joined the Turkish club on a season-long loan from Napoli in the summer transfer window and is likely to leave next January, his focus is on performing with Galatasaray. In a recent interview with Nexus Sports, Osimhen clarified his stance.
“All the chatter about January hasn’t gotten to me; I’m here until the end of the season, and my focus is on Galatasaray,” he emphasized. “Whatever discussions Napoli and Galatasaray have after that, we’ll address later. Right now, we’re in this together – it’s a club-thing.”
