After a string of disappointing performances, Real Madrid’s manager Carlo Ancelotti is looking to turn things around. Following a 4-0 loss to FC Barcelona and a 1-3 defeat in the UEFA Champions League, Ancelotti’s team has slipped to second place in the Spanish La Liga with 33 points from 12 games, nine points adrift of leaders Barcelona.
Ahead of their match against Osasuna on Saturday, November 9, Ancelotti expressed confidence that his team is poised for improvement. “I think we’ve found the solution now,” he said. “We just need to show it on the pitch.”
According to Ancelotti, the key to success lies in teamwork, sacrifice, and focus. Despite the challenges they’re facing, he remains optimistic, stating, “It’s a difficult moment for us, but I’m happy to be here at the best club in the world.”
In the Premier League, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta provided an update on the fitness of midfielder Declan Rice, who has been battling a foot injury. Unfortunately, Rice has yet to train with his teammates ahead of their match against Chelsea on Sunday, November 10, and his availability for the game is uncertain.
“Declan Rice hasn’t trained yet, and we’re still waiting to see if he’ll be ready to play against Chelsea,” Arteta revealed during the pre-match press conference on Friday, November 8.
