In a shocking turn of events, Basketmouth opened up about the root of their feud during a Black Box interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in 2021, revealing that Ay breached a promise of loyalty.
Ay, in a recent chat with Chude Jideonwo, attributed the ongoing feud to a sour business deal in 2006, which he has tried to resolve multiple times to no avail.
In a heartfelt video posted on his Instagram, Basketmouth took responsibility for the prolonged rift and tendered a public apology to Ay and others he offended in the industry.
The comedian expressed genuine remorse for his past actions and expressed his desire to live in harmony with his colleagues.
