Fani-Kayode Slams Critics Celebrating Trump’s Victory
Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has lambasted his critics who have turned to celebrate Donald Trump’s victory, stating that they had previously mocked and insulted him for his support of the former US president.
In a statement on his social media handle, Fani-Kayode praised Trump, saying that the former president was a man who had God’s favor on him.
“It’s astounding to see people who despised Donald Trump and belittled us for our support over the past decade now fawning over him and praising him,” he said. “When God’s hand is upon a man, nothing can hinder his progress. The Lord prepares a place for him in the presence of his enemies, and his blessings overflow.”
In his congratulatory message to Trump, Fani-Kayode recalled two assassination attempts against the former president and attributed his victory to divine intervention.
“The Lord thwarted the witch and granted Donald Trump victory – the greatest comeback in political history,” he wrote. “Despite every effort to stop him, including attempted imprisonment and assassination, God was with him. Let all who have breath praise the Lord! He is faithful, true, and glorious. Congratulations to Donald Trump.”
