Nollywood Actress Doris Simeon Opens Up About Painful Custody Battle with Ex-Husband Daniel Ademinokan

In a recent interview on the ‘Talk to B’ YouTube podcast, popular actress Doris Simeon shared her harrowing experience of a messy custody battle with her ex-husband, Daniel Ademinokan.

According to Naijawebinfo, the actress revealed that Ademinokan denied her any access to their son, leaving her feeling heartbroken and helpless.

Doris expressed deep sadness, stating that it had been over nine years since she last played a motherly role to their child, who was only three years old at the time.

She emphasized that everyone has their flaws, saying, “I might not have been perfect, and neither was he. What hurt me the most is that he didn’t let me be a mother to my child.”

The actress also spoke about the difficulties she faced in maintaining a relationship with her son, who was taken to the United States without her consent when he was just four years old. She recalled struggling to get in touch with her child, who would tell her he was busy whenever she called, and subsequently not hearing from him for months.

This prolonged period of radio silence left Doris feeling frustrated, depressed, and helpless. She eventually sought legal action, leading to a court battle.
