A Formal Complaint Filed Against Baltasar Ebang Engonga Over Viral Sex Tapes
A shocking scandal has unfolded in Equatorial Guinea, involving the former director-general of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), Baltasar Ebang Engonga.
As part of a fraud investigation, authorities conducted a search of Engonga’s home and office, where they discovered a staggering 400 explicit videos. These tapes allegedly feature Engonga engaging in intimate acts with multiple women, including high-profile individuals such as his brother’s wife, his cousin, the sister of the president, the wife of the director general of police, and around 20 wives of ministers.
The videos, reportedly filmed in Engonga’s office, hotels, and even toilets, were recorded with the consent of the participants. However, the leak has sparked widespread outrage and personal damage to those involved.
Cristel Nchama, one of the women featured in the tapes, has filed a formal complaint with the National Gendarmerie of Malabo. According to her complaint, she was in a four-year relationship with Engonga and has been left feeling deeply humiliated by the release of the videos.
Nchama accused Engonga of misleading her into trusting him and revealed that she initially resisted being filmed, believing that any recordings would be deleted. She is demanding compensation for the damage to her reputation and wants to know where the images came from and why they were kept.
As a result of the scandal, Engonga has been dismissed from his position, and the government has suspended all officials reportedly involved in sexual activities within ministry offices. This signals a crackdown on misconduct among public officials.
