Nollywood Star Mercy Aigbe Reveals Why She Married Second Husband Kazim Adeoti
In a recent appearance on ‘Nollywood on Radio,’ Mercy Aigbe shared the reasons behind her decision to marry Kazim Adeoti, professionally known as Adekaz, as her second husband.
According to reports by Naijawebinfo, Mercy Aigbe announced her marriage to Adekaz in January 2022, as a second wife.
In explaining her choice, Mercy Aigbe stated that one of the key factors was the fact that they both work in the same industry. She noted that they are building a production empire together and that it’s beneficial to have someone who understands the industry and can collaborate with her.
Adeoti’s Explanation for Not Attending First Wife’s Birthday Party
Meanwhile, Mercy Aigbe’s husband, Kazim Adeoti, has spoken out about why he didn’t attend his first wife’s 50th birthday party in the US. Despite being invited, Adeoti chose not to attend and instead sent a private birthday message.
According to Adeoti, his wife had specifically asked him not to attend the party and warned him against sharing her pictures online. When he asked her again in front of her children, she reiterated her wishes. Adeoti respected her decision, citing the possibility of embarrassment if he attended the party.
However, Adeoti did reveal that he financially and morally supported his first wife on her special day. He also made it clear that he would never wish her any harm and urged the public to refrain from making negative comments about his family members.
