Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara believes that the recent political turmoil in the state is a divine opportunity for change and growth.
During a thanksgiving service at the Shepard’s Hill Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Mgbuoba Community, Governor Fubara expressed gratitude to God for guiding the state through challenging times and for the appointment of His Royal Majesty, Eze Chike Worlu Wodo, as the Chairman of the Rivers State Traditional Rulers Council.
The governor was presented with copies of the Holy Bible by the parish leadership during the service. He emphasized that despite facing insurmountable obstacles, his administration has emerged stronger and more focused thanks to divine intervention.
Governor Fubara attributed their resilience to God’s guidance and wisdom, stating that He has turned what could have been overwhelming into opportunities for growth and renewal. He reaffirmed his unwavering faith in God and his commitment to relying on divine wisdom to lead the state effectively.
The governor also expressed hope that his administration would be remembered as one that stood firmly with God, and that their story would end in praise.
