Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to Officiate the Wedding of Dr. Aisha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Engr. Fahad Dahiru Mangal
The highly anticipated wedding ceremony of Dr. Aisha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, daughter of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and Engr. Fahad Dahiru Mangal, son of renowned Katsina businessman Alh. Dahiru Mangal, is set to take place on Saturday.
The union, which brings together two influential families from Kano and Katsina States, is expected to attract high-profile guests from across Nigeria, including dignitaries from within and outside the country.
In a statement, the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, revealed that the event will draw the cream of society to celebrate the union. Despite rumors of a rift between Kwankwaso and Governor Yusuf, the governor has denied any tensions, stating that he is at peace with the former governor.
The wedding invitation, which was extended to friends, families, political associates, business community, organized private sector players, captains of industry, religious and traditional leaders, reads: “We are pleased to invite you to the wedding ceremony of our daughter, Dr. Aisha Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, and her husband-to-be, Engr. Fahad Dahiru Mangal.” The ceremony will take place at the Kofar Kudu Palace of the Emir of Kano, Khalifa Dr. Muhammadu Sanusi II, on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, at 11 am.
The governor’s office has urged security agencies to ensure smooth and hitch-free vehicular movement between the Government House and the Emir’s palace on the day of the event.
