Former President Olusegun Obasanjo Wishes Ondo Governorship Candidate Lucky Aiyedatiwa Good Luck

In a visit to the government house in Akure, Ondo State capital, on Monday, Obasanjo extended his support and best wishes to Aiyedatiwa ahead of the upcoming governorship election.

The former president commended Aiyedatiwa’s dedication to engaging with the people and sharing his vision for the state, even in the face of challenging campaign conditions.

Obasanjo praised Aiyedatiwa’s perseverance and bravery in presenting his plans and programs to the public, acknowledging the difficulties of navigating the campaign trail.

In his speech, Obasanjo expressed his well-wishes to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, acknowledging the importance of the electoral process.

“I can only imagine the challenges you’re facing right now,” Obasanjo said, drawing from his own experiences in the 1999 election campaign. “I remember covering six states in one day, starting from Akure, Ondo State, and ending in Lagos around 8pm. This is a crucial part of the process, and I wish you all the best.”
