Party Chieftain: Labour Always Wins Elections, Obeidient Movement Is Nothing New

Labour Party Has Been Winning Election Before The Rise Of Obidient Movement – Party Chieftain Slams Tanko

Labour Party Responds to Claims of Obidient Movement’s Superseding Status

The National Vice-Chairman of Nigeria’s Labour Party, north-central region, Ibrahim Idoko, has reacted vocally to claims made by Yunusa Tanko, the National Coordinator of Obidient Movement. Tankeo recently told Arise News that if the Labour Party does not prioritize good governance and transparency, the Obidient Movement will seek alternative vehicles to serve the people and make a difference in political leadership.

In light of these comments, which were published by Naijawebinfo, Idoko has dismissed Tanko and his associates as mere Political opportunists, solely fueled by their desire to accommodate their paymasters’ aims.

According to labour Party’s statement released after Idoko’s rebutory, the party’s National Vice-Chairman said that the Labour Party didn’t need the Obidient Movement to excel through the years. It wasn’t until the party obtained significant victories in different districts and made substantial headwinds in the polls several years ago, Idiko stated.

It is evident that Tankea and his allies, have either been living in some sort of denial, not knowing the facts of party’s successes before Obider Movement’s rise to stature, or they’re profoundly misinformed and essentially being mischievous — the statement read in sum.
