Kizz Daniel Opens Up on Why He Won’t Diss Wizkid
According to a report by Naijawebinfo, popular Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel, recently revealed his stance on dissing senior colleague Wizkid in a social media exchange with fans of Davido on the X platform.
Kizz Daniel, known for his hit single “Buga,” responded to a fan who praised his fanbase, 30BG, while also showing admiration for Kizz Daniel’s music. The fan wrote, “Bro, but 30BG love you sha. Just know that.”
Kizz Daniel responded by saying, “Then let 30BG show it. Y’all are rugged and hyped, Vaddicts are calculative and wise, perfect blend.” It was then that a fan of Davido challenged him to diss Wizkid, stating, “Diss Wizkid Abeg I want to check something.”
Kizz Daniel politely declined the challenge, stating that it would be unwise to disrespect those who have paved the way for him in the music industry. He wrote, “I bet 30BG will love this. Na machala and baddest workings most of us dey enjoy now, it will be unwise my brother. Respect the ones before you.”
Meanwhile, music executive Olubankole Wellington, better known as Banky W, shared a poignant reflection on the early career struggles of Wizkid. In a viral video online, Banky W recalled how Wizkid would spend hours hanging around studios because he couldn’t afford studio time. He described Wizkid as a “studio rat” who was dedicated to his craft.
Banky W, who played a significant role in launching Wizkid’s career through his record label, Empire Mates Entertainment, emphasized Wizkid’s commitment and skill.
