Gospel Film Icon Baba Gbenro Passes Away
The entertainment industry is mourning the loss of a beloved figure, Moses Korede Are, also known as Baba Gbenro, a renowned actor and producer in the gospel film industry.
The news of his demise was shared on social media by fellow gospel actor and producer Oluwaseun Adejumobi, who paid tribute with the words, “Heavens’s Gain Again. A General Has Gone to rest.”
Baba Gbenro, affectionately called by his fans, is a prominent figure in the popular Mount Zion series “Abattoir”, having played a key role in the production.
However, no official statement has been made by Mount Zion president, Pastor Mike Bamiloye, or his children, who are also key players in the group’s productions, regarding Baba Gbenro’s passing, as of the time of this report.
