The Federal Road Safety Corps Issues Warning on Fake Recruitment Rumors
In a statement issued on Friday, the Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide, warned the public about false online claims of ongoing recruitment exercises by the FRSC. The agency emphatically denied these reports as fraudulent, advising potential applicants to ignore them.
The FRSC strongly cautions the public against engaging with individuals or platforms promoting these recruitment schemes, emphasizing that they are designed to deceive and swindle unsuspecting individuals out of their hard-earned money.
“We have been alerted to online publications spreading false information about the FRSC’s recruitment process,”
“These publications are misleading and aimed at misinforming the public. We want to assure applicants and the general public that there is no ongoing recruitment exercise at this time.”
“Our Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, is urging everyone to be vigilant and ignore these fake advertisements. Our recruitment processes have always been transparent, reliable, and publicly announced through various channels, including our website, social media platforms, and the National Traffic Radio 107.1FM.”
“We warn the public to steer clear of these scammers and misinformation providers, as the FRSC will not be held liable if anyone falls victim. We remain committed to conducting transparent and credible recruitment processes and advise interested individuals to rely solely on official notifications for accurate information.”
The agency’s statement aims to dispel rumors and protect potential applicants from fraudulent activities.
