Makinde urges Ondo voters to prove their discontent and yearning for change

This Election Is A Litmus Test To Show Your Hunger, Anger – Makinde Tells Ondo Electorates

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde Sees Ondo Election as a Turning Point for Nigeria

Naijawebinfo reports that Governor Makinde recently sent out a newsletter, “It’s Time to Make a Bold Statement,” where he emphasized the importance of the upcoming Ondo State election.

In the newsletter, Governor Makinde urged Ondo State residents to participate in large numbers on Saturday to make a statement about the lack of people-centric policies in the All Progressives Congress (APC). He also encouraged those who value good governance to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the election.

Makinde argued that the PDP is the party best equipped to help Nigeria overcome its economic challenges. He pointed out that evidence from PDP-governed states demonstrates the party’s ability to deliver development and growth across the country.

In his statement, Governor Makinde said, “I urge everyone in Ondo State to come out this Saturday and make a bold statement in the election. Let those who support good governance stand up and say no to the APC’s lack of people-centric policies. It’s time for Nigerians to rally behind the PDP as the party that can help Nigeria overcome its economic challenges.”

He continued, “Ondo State is a litmus test for Nigerians to show that their hunger and anger can bring about real change. I want to remind you that the PDP is the party that can rescue Nigeria. If you’re still undecided, look at the efforts our PDP governors are making for their people. For instance, just yesterday, we presented our Budget of Economic Stabilisation, which was designed with the people in mind.”

Governor Makinde emphasized that his party’s budget has a high chance of success, with a 7:10 chance of implementing its plans. This means that the people of Oyo State can expect to see infrastructure development, educational projects, and economic progress.

In conclusion, Governor Makinde expressed his optimism for Nigeria’s economic future, saying, “Economically, we look forward to better times in 2025. We just have to keep pushing and making the right decisions in the overall interest of our people and our nation.”
