Olayide Adelami’s Victory at Owo Polling Unit Bolsters APC’s Grip on Ondo State

In a resounding endorsement of his party’s message, the APC’s Deputy Governorship candidate, Olayide Adelami, claimed a decisive win at his polling unit in Owo, Ondo State.

At Unit 16, Igboroko 2, Ward 03, located at Ahmadiya Grammar School, Iselu, the APC secured a commanding 209 votes, leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with a mere 11 votes. This impressive margin further solidifies the APC’s stronghold in the area.

Adelami cast his vote at 9:40 a.m. and praised the peaceful and orderly conduct of the election at his polling unit. He expressed confidence in his party’s chances, crediting their success to thorough campaigns and widespread grassroots support across Ondo State’s 18 local government areas.

“Our tireless campaigning and the overwhelming enthusiasm for our party have given us the conviction that we will emerge victorious in this election,” Adelami stated after casting his vote.

The polling unit, which has 850 registered voters, demonstrated significant support for the APC, reflecting what Adelami described as a “clear mandate from the people.”
