Bobrisky Reveals EFCC’s Reason for His Persecution

How My Problem With EFCC Started – Bobrisky Opens Up

Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky’s troubles with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) began after he accepted a prestigious award at a movie premiere.

Naijawebinfo recently reported on allegations that Bobrisky paid for special treatment while serving a jail sentence for currency abuse. The claims were fueled by a viral audio that suggested he bribed officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) to secure preferential conditions in prison.

The EFCC arrested Bobrisky at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos as he attempted to board a KLM flight to Amsterdam.

Bobrisky’s arrest sent shockwaves online when he took to social media to alert his followers, sharing that he had sustained injuries during the ordeal. He pleaded for help, saying, “Nigerians, please help me. The EFCC has arrested me, and I’m badly injured.”

He was subsequently taken to the EFCC headquarters in Abuja, where he faced questioning over allegations of bribing EFCC officers to drop previous money laundering charges.

In a post on his Instagram page, Bobrisky clarified that he would never get involved in any award or prize belonging to a female.

He wrote, “My troubles began when I accepted the best dressed female award with a N1 million prize. I would disappear from any location if I saw an award for best dressed female. Everyone knows the truth – I’m a baddie with class. If you want to compete with me, you’re in for a disappointment. But when things get too tough, I know how to run.”
