Ondo Governorship Election: Initial Results Released

Aiyedatiwa, Ajayi, Mimiko: Ex-Governorship Aspirant Names Who Will Win Ondo Governorship Election

Ondo State residents came out in droves to cast their ballots in the highly anticipated gubernatorial election.

According to our source, Naijawebinfo, the election commenced around 8:30 am and has now concluded. The outcome is expected to be revealed shortly.

The two frontrunners vying for the top seat are Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the current governor, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Agboola Ajayi, former Deputy Governor, who is running on the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The results have started trickling in, and they are being uploaded on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) IReV portal for public access.

The first outcome has been reported from Ward EKAN in Akoko North East Local Government Area.

The specific polling station is Ek An Ile 1 & 11, Salems Pry. Sch. Ek An.

The voting pattern at this location has emerged as follows:

  • APC: 217 votes
  • PDP: 32 votes
  • LP: 15 votes
