The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 12 fixture between Heartland and Kano Pillars, originally scheduled to take place at Katsina’s temporary ground, has been relocated to Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. Despite this unexpected shift, Heartland’s coach, Charles Uzor, remains focused on his team’s objectives.

In an interview, Uzor expressed gratitude for the smooth journey to Kano and emphasized his team’s dedication to maintaining their focus. “We are here with a clear purpose, and while we were initially somewhat unsettled by the sudden venue change, we are committed to controlling what we can and planning for the game ahead,” he said.

Uzor highlighted the importance of his team’s preparation, stating that they are in great shape and ready to face Kano Pillars’ notable players, including Ahmed Musa, without distractions. His goal is to secure a positive result and return to Owerri with a sense of accomplishment.

Nasarawa United’s Coach Exudes Optimism

Nasarawa United’s technical director, Kabiru Dogo, remains optimistic despite the team’s challenging start to the season. Following a narrow 1-0 defeat to Akwa United, the Solid Miners find themselves in 19th position in the league standings.
